What is Steep?
Steep is a Sydney based platform that organizes events to bring together open-minded people seeking new experiences and expanded horizons. We also run a blog surfacing the videos, music, books, flavors, and people that contribute to the culture by providing tangible, meaningful thoughts about the human experience.
Steep’s Manifesto
There was a time when your taste mattered. Now someone else decides what you see. They've replaced free thought with comfort. The spaces where we belonged have been colonized and gentrified in the pursuit of profit.
Steep was founded on the idea that a third space must exist. Outside of the home and outside of work. A place to spend the hours of your day when you are truly free to live the way that you decide.
Steep rejects the monoculture. We're building something where your taste, your voice, your experience actually matters. Come exactly as you are. No pressure to fit into something.
Stop consuming what they feed you. Culture is not meant to be consumed alone. Seek out what's real.
